New Cisco patent to secure 5G network with blockchain

According to recent news from the foreign media, network technology giant Cisco has won a patent that details how to use blockchain to protect data in 5G telecommunications networks. According to documents filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on November 26, Cisco filed a patent application for a blockchain platform that can be integrated into a wireless network in June 2018. This blockchain platform is designed to manage data sessions between devices (such as phones or laptops) and virtual networks. In other words, the new technology can manage part of the data exchange between the network and connected devices through the block link port.
