Nine of the world's top universities will jointly explore the application of blockchain and other technologies in the field of academic records

According to EducationDive, on April 23, nine of the world's top universities announced that they would jointly explore how emerging technologies such as blockchain can be used to provide students with digital versions of academic records, including badges, certificates, internships, and traditional degrees. The nine universities are: Delft University of Technology, Harvard Institute of Education, Hasso Plattner Institute, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Monterrey University of Technology, Munich University of Technology, University of California at Berkeley, University of California, Irvine Branch school, University of Toronto.
