Kakao plans to launch its cryptocurrency wallet Klip in the first half of 2020

Today, Finance Magnates cited BusinessKorea as saying that Kakao Corp., the parent company of South Korean instant messaging application KakaoTalk, plans to launch its cryptocurrency wallet Klip in the first half of next year. The development task has been given to Kakao's blockchain division, GroundX, which is expected to complete this part of the work in the first quarter of 2020. The company's goal is to introduce crypto services into existing information platforms and integrate wallets into KakaoTalk.
