CME November report: Derivatives market volumes on almost all assets have fallen year-on-year

According to Finance Magnates, CME Group announced this week's trading volume in November. Compared with the same period last year, the CME Group's derivatives market has seen a decline in trading volume. In other words, as an operator of derivatives, options, and futures exchanges, the transaction volume of interest rates, stock indexes, foreign exchange, energy and agricultural products all fell year-on-year, and metals were the only products reporting an increase in sales. Overall, the average daily trading volume of CME's contracts in November 2019 reached 18.2 million. This is a 16% decrease from 21.7 million contracts in the same period last year.
