U.S. second largest medical insurance company uses blockchain technology to help patients share medical data

According to Forbes, Anthem, the second largest medical insurance company in the United States, has started using blockchain technology to help patients securely access and share their medical data. This feature is currently in a pilot test phase and is planned to be rolled out to the membership community in the coming months. Anthem executives said that within the next two to three years, all 40 million members will have the opportunity to use this feature.
