According to Xinhua News, on December 12, a seminar on "Enterprise Lean Management in the Digital Age" was held in Beijing. Zhao Qiuhong, a professor at the School of Economics and Management of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, executive director and deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering, analyzed the impact of the digital age on the supply chain. She said that new information technologies, including the Internet of Things, cloud computing, robotics, and blockchain, can effectively help supply chain management and optimize supply and demand matching. Among them, some technologies have been successfully applied in practice. "Digital technology makes the supply-demand relationship closer and the information exchange more sufficient. It can reduce costs and improve efficiency, and optimize the overall situation, so as to achieve a win-win situation in supply and demand. This is the ultimate goal pursued by supply chain management."
