Mitsui Sumitomo Bank of Japan will launch trade financing service based on Marco Polo blockchain platform in the second half of the year

According to Coindesk, Yasuyuki Kawasaki, vice president of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), one of the three largest banks in Japan, recently announced that the bank plans to launch a blockchain-based trade finance service in the second half of this year, which will use the Marco Polo trade financing blockchain. The platform introduces new services for import and export companies.
