Bitfinex: The Office of the Attorney General of New York maliciously wrote the document, $850 million was not lost but was seized and protected

According to Bitfinex, early in the morning, the Office of the Attorney General of New York issued an order to force Bitfinex and Tether to provide certain documents and seek some kind of injunctive relief. The court documents of the Attorney General of New York were maliciously written and filled with false assertions, including the $850 million "loss" allegedly incurred at Crypto Capital. Instead, we have been told that these encrypted capital amounts have not been lost, but have actually been blocked and protected. We have been actively working to exercise our rights and remedies and to release these funds. Bitfinex and Tether are in good financial condition. Both Bitfinex and Tether will fight this serious ultra vires of the New York Attorney General office. Bitfinex and Tether will respond to this practice in the Office of the Attorney General of New York.
