5 Japanese publishing companies start blockchain technology experiments to combat piracy

According to Crypto.Watch, recently, the Japan Publishing Company ’s Nihonsha Co., Ltd., in collaboration with various publishing houses and e-bookstores, has begun empirical experiments using blockchain technology to counter piracy. The company has been developing systems for the purpose of establishing a comprehensive rights processing basis for published content. It is reported that a total of 5 publishers participated in the experiment. The first phase will be carried out in the e-bookstore "Comic Library Z" operated by J Comic Terrace, which will take 2 months.
