Overstock subsidiary Medici Ventures has invested in 19 blockchain ventures

Medici Ventures, a subsidiary of US Internet retail giant Overstock, has invested in 19 start-ups that use blockchain technology, covering payments and banking, financial assets, authentication, asset management, supply chain, voting and more. Its president, Jonathan Johnson, said that when deciding on the direction of investment, the company would value "a management team consisting of excellent technical staff, good industry expertise, good marketing and sales."
