Compound's General Counsel: Bitcoin's modest rise cannot be celebrated at the cost of war

Morgan Creek founder and bitcoin diehard Anthony Pompliano tweeted today: "War is the most violent, destructive and combative thing humans can do. Although hot pictures and emoticons can be found on social media I like it, but we should all advocate reducing the escalation of every conflict. War is the last resort. Just ask any soldier who has been there. Jake Chervinsky, general counsel for Compound, retweeted the tweet and said: Part of my focus on Bitcoin is that I believe it will advance the cause of peace of our time, helping distant people to trade and coordinate regardless of the differences. We cannot celebrate the slight rise in (Bitcoin) at the expense of war. I hope Anthony Pompliano represents us all. "
