Ethereum developer Virgil Griffith has now been formally charged

According to recent news from the foreign media, Ethereum developer Virgil Griffith has now been formally charged with allegedly assisting North Korea to learn more about blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Griffith is allegedly charged for "conspiracy to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act." Earlier news, Griffith was arrested last November on charges that the federal government accused him of illegally traveling to North Korea in April and made a statement at the "Pyongyang Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Conference."
