Security personnel finds new variant of Monero mining malware LiquorBot

Security personnel recently discovered a new variant of the Monero mining malware LiquorBot, known as the new variant of the Mirai virus, that can infect millions of devices. LiquorBot was first monitored in May 2019 and has been active so far. But researchers found that even if 2.5 million IoT devices were infected, the entire network could only mine cryptocurrency worth $ 0.25 per day.
