Fidelity Investment's crypto division enters Europe for the first time, serving as custodian of Bitcoin held by London crypto investment company

According to Reuters, the cryptocurrency division of Fidelity Investments, one of the world's largest investment management companies, entered Europe for the first time, opening a new front to introduce digital currencies to mainstream investment. Fidelity Investments will be the custodian of Bitcoin held by London-based cryptocurrency investment company Nickel Digital Asset Management. According to Chris Tyrer, European director of Fidelity Digital Assets, barriers to institutional investors' participation in the cryptocurrency market, namely regulation, quality and high volatility of service providers, are gradually decreasing.
