According to The Daily Hodl, Tom Lyndon, CEO and cryptocurrency analyst of ETF Trends, recently stated that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will have a 60% chance of approving a Bitcoin ETF in 2020. There are three key developments that could allow the SEC to spawn a Bitcoin ETF this year. First, the SEC recently approved the NYDIG Bitcoin Strategy Fund to invest in Bitcoin futures contracts. Second, CME's new Bitcoin options are another step forward in the institutionalization of BTC. Finally, Bitcoin has integrated investments in traditional asset platforms such as Fidelity.
