Chrysler Building owner RFR Holdings agrees to accept some tokens to complete a Zurich real estate transaction

New York-based real estate company RFR Holdings, which had purchased the Chrysler Building in New York, agreed to sell its majority stake in a commercial real estate project in Zurich to real estate agency BrickMark. BrickMark said it will buy 80% of the real estate project, of which 20% will be paid with the company's issue of ERC-20-based securitization tokens. The acquisition price has not yet been disclosed, but the share of the token payment may reach tens of millions of euros. "This is the largest real estate transaction involving securitized tokens in history," said BrickMark CEO Stephan Rind.
