Judge rules IRS survey of Coinbase users only covers 2016

According to foreign media news today, U.S. District Judge Sallie Kim has ruled that the CRS's crypto tax investigation of Coinbase user William Zietzke only covers 2016. The court held that the information requested by the IRS was too broad in terms of time and suggested that the IRS present a revised subpoena to limit the time limit of the information in order to focus on relevant transactions. Earlier in November 2019, William Zietzke lost the lawsuit against the IRS in investigating its Bitstamp account.
