Ethereum developer Virgil Griffith pleads not guilty to charges of conspiracy to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act

According to CoinDesk, Ethereum developer Virgil Griffith has pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. Earlier on January 9, Virgil Griffith was formally charged with conspiracy to violate international emergency economic power law. He was accused of travelling to North Korea illegally and attended a blockchain conference, although the US State Department has refused to authorize him to travel to North Korea.
