U.S. digital securities firm Securitize secures new round of funding, including Sony

On February 4, digital security development company Securitize raised funds from Sony Financial and Global Brain Investment Fund. The strategic financing is an extension of the September 2019 round of financing, which was raised by Mitsubishi UFJ Innovation Partners and Nomura Holdings for more than $ 14 million. Securitize is a US startup that uses blockchain technology to digitize securities.It was approved by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in August 2019.
