Crypto startup Ramp gets open banking license in Europe

Crypto startup Ramp, a P2P fiat currency / encryption gateway, today announced that it has obtained an open banking license in Europe after being authorized by the Polish Financial Supervision Agency (KNF). After a 13-month registration process, Ramp is now a fully licensed account information service provider (AISP). This means that Ramp has access to bank data on behalf of bank account owners of all banks in the European Union. By connecting directly to the bank API, Ramp can settle transactions based on the API connection with the bank.
