Quebec, Canada will supply low-cost electricity to some encrypted miners

On April 29th, the Quebec Energy Regulatory Authority of Canada issued a new regulation that will provide low-cost electricity bills for encrypted miners. The new regulations say the Energy Authority has ordered Quebec Hydro to distribute 300 megawatts of electricity to the blockchain industry. The agency will rate blockchain companies based on four criteria, including the number of job creations, total wages for direct jobs, planned investments, and heat recovery plans. The selected cryptocurrency miner will get a cheaper electricity bill.
