Ethereum expansion plan Arbitrum Rollup tests online and opens source, sidechain and status channel will be launched at the end of the year

Offchain Labs announced today that the Ethereum expansion plan Arbitrum Rollup is online and will be open sourced. Arbitrum Rollup runs on the Rollup system running on Ethereum, and optimizes general smart contracts for high security, high throughput, and strong anti-censorship capabilities. Arbitrum Rollup has no restrictions on the types of contracts written, and does not require developers to rewrite applications using unfamiliar abstractions or programming languages. Arbitrum has full smart contract support and a Solidity compiler, allowing developers to easily port existing contracts or develop new ones. Arbitrum Rollup plans to launch the Ethereum mainnet in the future, and it is expected that the Arbitrum sidechain and status channel will be launched at the end of the year, because in the presence of multiple types of contracts, migration to the off-chain can achieve higher scalability and lower costs
