The Bank of Japan and the European Central Bank jointly release a report on the results of the fourth phase of the Stella project

According to the official website of the Bank of Japan, on February 12, the Bank of Japan and the European Central Bank jointly issued a report on the results of the fourth phase of the distributed ledger project "Stella". The report states that transactions on the DLT network will undoubtedly raise privacy issues because participating entities own the nodes and share transaction information. The emergence of privacy enhancement technology (PET) solves these problems and balances the confidentiality and confirmability of transaction information. The report therefore analyzes how to balance the confidentiality and auditability environment in a distributed ledger.
