XAG / USD feed failure in Chainlink, causing loss of approximately USD 40,000

According to the Chainlink announcement of the oracle, Chainlink's XAG / USD recently suffered a feeding failure of up to 6 hours, resulting in a loss of less than 40,000 US dollars. Chainlink then responded that the price of the trading pair had returned to normal and stated that the accident was caused by human error during a feature upgrade, which caused the price of gold (XAU) to erroneously become the price of silver (XAG). Chainlink plans to increase the number of multi-signers in the oracle decentralized network upgrade process mechanism in the near future, thereby largely eliminating such problems.
