The Australian Labor Party will contribute US$3 million to fund the construction of the Blockchain National Academy

The Australian Labor Party will announce a new plan today (May 1) to invest $3 million to establish a new national college in Perth to train workers in the much-needed skills associated with blockchain technology. Digital Economy Shadow Minister Ed Husic and others will announce the news this afternoon. Ed Husic said the Blockchain Academy will play an important role in helping young people in Western Australia adapt to high-demand work. The value of the blockchain in the financial services industry is getting higher and higher, and the Australian Stock Exchange is actively preparing to use the blockchain in its business through major banks such as the Commonwealth.
