Utilities Settlement Tokens (USC) will partner with Adhara, a startup backed by ConsenSys. It is reported that Fnality is the company responsible for overseeing the development of USC, which is one of Fnality's few public proposals. Fnality raised $ 64.5 million in June 2019 from 14 shareholders including banking giants Barclays, Santander, New York Mellon Bank and ING. An industry source close to Fnality said that working with Adhara makes sense because the startup's already completed work in South Africa could evolve into a Fnality payment system. Sources also mentioned that Swiss National Bank (SNB) may be the custodian of Fnality's tokenized cash.
