Coinhako, a Singapore cryptocurrency exchange, suffered a "complex attack" that restricted users' withdrawals. Coinhako told users that the account sending function for cryptocurrencies is temporarily disabled. Although a spokesperson initially stated that it was for “maintenance of the network”, the exchange later acknowledged that it was the victim of an attack and will implement account restrictions to prevent “unauthorized transactions” until the issue is fully resolved . A Coinhako spokesman said the attack was not a wallet hack and the user's private key was not affected. Coinhako plans to resume full operational capacity on March 1.
