Decentralized service platform AVA acquires private capital market platform Investery

AVA, a decentralized service platform founded by Cornell University's famous computer scholar Emin Gun Sirer, announced the acquisition of the private capital market platform Investery. Investery's existing partners will be transferred to AVA. Investery CEO and founder John Wu and Lydia Chiu, vice president of business development and products, will also join AVA Labs full-time. Established in 2019, Investery is a private capital market platform that provides a full range of investment management services, providing services such as market research, asset management and trading. Joining AVA Labs, John Wu will assume the role of global president. Prior to founding Investery, John Wu founded the investment company Sureview Capital and served as the CEO of SharesPost's digital asset group.

According to previous reports, AVA Labs completed a $ 6 million financing in February 2019. Andreessen Horowitz, Polychain, former CTO of Coinbase Balaji Srinivasan, Metastable, Initialized and Abstract Ventures founder Ramtin Naimi and other institutions and investors participated in this round of financing .
