State Street Managing Director: Bitcoin hasn't really captured the market like electronic trading

State Street digital product development and innovation managing director Jay Biancamano said that blockchain technology and digital assets will affect many different corners of the market, just as electronic transactions affected the market decades ago. He also pointed out that Bitcoin has not captured the market like electronic trading.

According to previous reports, a study by the Swiss stock exchange SIX showed that traditional market traders have shown increasing interest in digital assets. When asked about their long-term prospects for trading digital assets and crypto products, nearly 80% thought that demand would eventually increase. When analyzing the level of interest in digital assets, 10% said they were very interested, 21% had a certain interest, 32% were not interested, and 37% of the participants were not interested at all.
