Report: 23% of CFOs surveyed said the company has implemented blockchain technology, up 14% from last year.

According to a recent survey by audit firm Grant Thornton LLP, 40% of senior MBA executives surveyed expect their company to invest in blockchain technology over the next two years. Twenty-two percent of respondents said the company has implemented the technology, but only 9% of the 304 senior financial leaders surveyed in 2018 revealed that their company implemented DLT. Grant Thornton LLP Business Consulting Director Chris Stephenson said that many of the early blockchain implementations were implemented in the financial services industry in terms of industry adoption, which is not surprising given the industry's greatest risk of damage. Healthcare and supply chain companies have also become pioneers.
