Facial recognition technology company Clearview will sue hackers accessing its customer list

According to CoinDesk, a spokesman for Clearview AI, an American company that sells facial recognition technology to Coinbase, confirmed that a hacker had "unauthorized" access to all of Clearview's customer list last week. Clearview's legal representative, Tor Ekeland, said that although the location and motive of the hacker is unknown, if found, the person is likely to be sued under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA).
