Human Rights Foundation Chief Strategy Officer: U.S. lawmaker's new crypto bill is an attack on financial privacy

Bitcoin supporter Alex Gladstein, chief strategy officer of the Human Rights Foundation, is concerned that the latest proposed "cryptocurrency bill 2020" is an attack on financial privacy. Gladstein said he should beware of the "Cryptocurrency Act 2020." Gladstein cited part of the draft bill as saying that any legislation that forces companies to monitor, de-anonymize or micro-monitor customers is a violation of the financial privacy required to protect democratic freedoms.

Odaily Planet Daily Note: On March 9th, US Congressman Paul Gosar formally proposed a "Cryptocurrency Act 2020" aimed at clarifying cryptocurrency regulators.
