UK trade negotiators focus on blockchain terms in upcoming U.S. trade talks

According to CoinDesk reports, according to the United Kingdom ’s announced negotiating targets, the UK Department of International Trade (DIT) negotiators hope to exert some influence on the formulation of global blockchain rules in the upcoming free trade negotiations with the United States. Post-Brexit trade representatives said in a 184-page action plan released on March 2 that they would "seek" to provide preferential digital trade terms for small and medium enterprises, including blockchain. The document states: "In areas such as data streaming, blockchain, driverless cars, and quantum technology, we have the opportunity to help shape global rules through ambitious digital trade provisions."
