New crown virus spreads, CME to close Chicago trading floor on Friday

Due to the spread of the new crown virus, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Group will close the Chicago Trading Hall at the close on Friday. It is unclear when to reopen the trading floor. It is reported that the Shiba Exchange is one of the few exchanges in the United States that provides Bitcoin derivative contracts. It is unclear whether the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) or the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOE) will also close the trading floor. As of today, there have been 1,107 confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia in the United States, of which 25 were found in Illinois, where the Chicago Mercantile Exchange is located.
