Recently, China Telecom Chengdu Branch and Chengdu Longquanyi District Market Supervision Bureau jointly launched the nation's first smart food safety management platform. The platform is based on new technologies such as telecommunications cloud storage, cloud computing, big data, AI, and blockchain. It fully realizes the remote management of the regulatory authorities, the availability of information management for catering units, the public viewing on the Internet, and the inspection of food operators. Intelligent co-management, efficient assistance in epidemic prevention and control, and resumption of work. With the guidance of the government, social participation, and multi-party co-management, it has created a new model of smart Internet management of catering safety. As of now, 1,800 catering units have joined the platform, generating more than 26,000 pieces of self-inspection management data. The District Market Supervision Bureau has used the platform to implement prevention and control inspections for more than 700 households, issued early warning information to 450 catering units and supervised rectification. Smart management has achieved initial results.
