Ripple development department Xpring proposes adding "opt-in" privacy feature to XRP Ledger

Ripple's development department, Xpring, has come up with a new proposal to add an "opt-in" privacy feature to XRP Ledger. The community is now reviewing the proposal through GitHub. Xrening developer community leader Warren Paul Anderson explained that XRP can be anonymous with the help of "blind tags." Xpring also announced that the Xpring wallet adds support for the STREAM protocol. It allows users to send and receive currency or data in the form of encrypted packets through the blockchain-independent Interledger by establishing an HTTP connection. All developers can now integrate STREAM payments into their applications with the help of Testnet XRP.
