On May 6, South Korea’s “Central Daily News” website announced that Seoul City plans to train 10,000 specialized technical talents for the fourth industrial revolution, and to make Seoul City a world entrepreneurial city. Focusing on six new industrial bases such as Hongling (biological), Mapo (financial technology and blockchain), Liangcai (artificial intelligence and big data, etc.), at the same time, Liangcai (AI) and Hongling (biological, Medical) will create a new space and can accommodate more than 1,000 innovative companies. As of 2022, the government plans to invest 1.9 trillion won (about 1.6 billion US dollars) for startups.
