Survey: Cryptocurrencies are used more frequently for daily purchases than the public thinks

According to Bitcoinist, a study conducted by Visual Objects found that cryptocurrencies are used more frequently for daily purchases than the public believes. 72% of currency holders said they use digital wallets to purchase items. Visual Objects surveyed 983 people familiar with cryptocurrencies and 157 cryptocurrency holders. The first group was asked what they thought the currency holders would prefer to buy. Among them, 40% said that cryptocurrencies were mainly used to buy stocks, and 30% mentioned illegal items. Only a few believe that currency holders will buy clothing (15%) and food (14%). In fact, the second group is completely different. Interviewed currency holders use crypto wallets to buy food (38%), clothes (34%), stocks (29%) and gold (21%).
