Venezuelan non-profit organization proposes multi-faceted adoption of petroleum coins to combat the new crown epidemic

The National Cryptocurrency Association (Asonacrip), a private non-profit organization in Venezuela, has proposed a series of measures to use petroleum coins to combat the new coronavirus epidemic nationwide. Asonacrip recommends that citizens be allowed to pay taxes in petroleum coins, and that they will open 335 petroleum coin sales offices across the country, establish petroleum coin trusts for workers, and provide petroleum coin credits to companies. These proposals involve the use of the Patria digital platform, which currently allows citizens to receive Bitcoin and altcoin payments from overseas. The organization also recommends using the platform to provide petrocoin loans, and may even allow citizens to receive petcoin-based benefits and welfare payments online.
