University of Cape Town develops new crown virus tracking blockchain application Covi-ID

An academic team at the University of Cape Town in South Africa is developing a new blockchain-based crown virus tracking application Covi-ID, which will allow users to verify their COVID-19 status. Its purpose is to solve a series of urgent problems caused by the global new coronavirus pandemic, and is scheduled to be released on April 21. The app is designed to improve contact tracking of infected patients, and users will be able to provide a verified COVID-19 status. In addition, the app will reward people for responsible behavior, such as staying at home during the blockade.
