According to BleepingComputer, the system of the Portuguese multinational energy giant EDP, the world ’s fourth-largest wind energy producer, was locked by a malicious attacker using Ragnar Locker ransomware. The attacker claimed to have stolen more than 10 tb of sensitive documents and threatened the company to leak all stolen data unless a ransom of 1580 BTC ($ 10.9 million) was paid.
