French Financial Markets Authority Annual Report: Warnings have been issued to 118 entities or websites involved in cryptographic asset activities

According to Finance Feeds, on May 7, the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) released its 2018 annual report. According to the report, starting in March 2018, AMF began to prepare a “blacklist” and has now issued warnings to 118 unregulated entities or websites involved in cryptographic assets. The report also pointed out that 36% of the consultations received by the center in 2018 involved cybercrime activities. In 2016, there were 3,768 consultations involving foreign exchange and binary option investment fraud, and only 18 consultations involving crypto asset fraud. But in 2018, the trend is exactly the opposite. In 2018, there were 968 consultations on foreign exchange and binary options, and 2,625 consultations on cryptographic assets.
