Irish man arrested for stealing cryptocurrency worth more than $2 million, or facing 100 years in prison

According to reports, a 20-year-old Irish man, Conor Freeman, was arrested on May 9 by US police on suspicion of stealing cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin worth more than $2 million online. Freeman may face imprisonment for more than 100 years in the United States due to several crimes such as scams, abetment and fraud. An arrest warrant issued by the US Department of Justice showed that the authorities had determined that the four attacks that Freeman claimed to be involved in the case resulted in a stolen cryptocurrency value of $2,187,977.
