According to reports, at present, the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao colleges and universities have established sub-alliance in the fields of library, medical care, supercomputing, new materials, marine technology, internet finance, blockchain, etc., and have built a number of R&D centers and production, research and research bases. There is also close cooperation in the training of higher education talents. It is reported that the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau University Alliance was jointly initiated by Sun Yat-sen University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Macau in 2016. So far, 28 universities in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau have been brought together.
