The US Copyright Office will not "recognize" Craig Wright as Nakamoto Satoshi

On May 22, the US Copyright Office said it would not "recognize" Craig Wright as Satoshi. The explanation is that “as a general rule, when the Copyright Office receives an application for registration, the applicant will prove the authenticity of the statement made in the submission. The Copyright Office will not investigate the authenticity of any statement. If the work is registered under a pseudonym, The Copyright Office will not investigate whether there is a verifiable link between the complainant and the pseudonym."
