Liu Weiyan, deputy director of Suzhou Customs: Nanjing Customs relies on blockchain and other technologies to innovate and reform the regulatory supply chain process

According to the 21st Century Business Herald, on May 23, Nanjing Customs announced that the pilot of the bonded supervision reform business “with the supply chain as a unit” was successful. The day before, this reform was initiated by Suzhou Customs under the Nanjing Customs. Liu Weiyan, deputy director of Suzhou Customs, said that the reform innovatively proposed the concept of “regulating the supply chain with data chain”, simplifying the traditional mode of document auditing, and relying on blockchain, big data and other technical means to select the supply chain. The key nodes are cut in, and the customs supervision is carried out by means of data serial sharing and upstream and downstream mutual verification.
