India's Telangana state issued a draft blockchain policy to provide financial and policy support for corporate landing

According to Financial Express on May 26th, Telangana, India, recently issued a draft blockchain policy to attract companies and start-ups in the field. Policies include granting land at subsidized prices, research funding, regulation and policy support, and guidelines for conventional ICT (information and communication technology) companies' annual income, investment commitments, and employment commitments will be partially relaxed. At the same time, Telangana will set up an international liaison office for blockchains, cooperate with international agencies, set up research chairmen, and provide financial support for research scholars in the field. In August 2018, Telangana signed a memorandum of understanding with Indian IT giant Tech Mahindra to launch India's first blockchain SAR in Telangana.
