On May 31, Ernst & Young announced a new agreement to enable private transactions on the Ethereum blockchain. The project, called "Nightfall," was released on GitHub on Friday. The description on GitHub shows that Nightfall integrates a smart contract and microservices, as well as the ZoKrates zk-snark toolkit, enabling standard ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens to be fully privately traded on the Ethereum blockchain. . This is an experimental solution and is still being actively developed. As previously reported, the freely available code is designed to help corporate customers use the Ethereum blockchain for use cases including supply chain management, food tracking and transactions between different company branches.
