According to Dailymail, Ripple founder Chris Larsen and his wife, Lyna Lam, donated $25 million to his San Francisco State University in Silicon Valley, most of which is cryptocurrency. Venesia Thompson-Ramsay, the temporary vice-president, said that there were about 56 million XRP donations in November last year, but prices have been fluctuating since then.
