IBM partners with Russian metal producers to build a blockchain education center

According to Cointelegraph, TASS reported on June 6 that global technology giant IBM has signed an agreement with Russian metal producer Nornickel and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) to launch a blockchain education program. The main challenges facing the education center include student training, research and development of digital ecosystems including blockchain and Internet of Things (IoT). According to reports, the university will prepare and launch master's and postgraduate courses, and the first batch of students in the “blockchain” program are expected to begin their studies in the fall of 2019.
